We prospect for naturally occurring Hydrogen!
Natural hydrogen occurrences, are geological features where hydrogen gas naturally escapes from the Earth’s crust. These occurrences can be found in various geological settings, including:
- Geothermal Areas
- Hydrothermal Systems
- Volcanic Areas
It is non-polluting and offers lower costs than industrial hydrogen. The commercial viability of harvesting hydrogen from natural occurrences is still limited.
According to the Financial Times, there are 5 trillion tons of natural hydrogen reserves worldwide. Reserves have been identified in France, Mali and the USA.
